The Students
The Team are students. Do So is the practice.
Students in the way that craftspeople stay students their whole lives. Not novices. Not masters. Not experts. People who choose to keep learning, keep adapting, keep listening to what the work asks for next.
Students across disciplines, a lineage of teachers, and the life that connects them. Do So is the room where that study becomes visible in the world.
Because the Team are students, the company is a studio, not a service provider. The company gathers people smarter than the founder in each craft, and treats those people as collaborators, not as vendors.
A director is not the director of shots. A director is the connective tissue that runs between every department to make one thing into reality.

The Four Elements
The practice is organised around four disciplines, held as the four classical elements.
Film · Earth. Staying grounded, present, so you can see your surroundings and capture them. Storytelling is the core of being human.
Music · Water. Flow. Sound has healing abilities. Music is release, and release makes the work honest.
Dance · Air. Every individual body tells a story through movement. We spoke through dancing before we spoke in other ways.
Martial Arts · Fire. Controlling the fire inside. Turning discipline into something usable rather than something that consumes.
Rhythm. holds the four together. There is no music without film. No dance without music. No martial arts without dance. Rhythm is the medium through which they speak.

Who’s The Founder?
HEViN CaRDOSO. Cape Verdean by heritage. Lisbon-born, London-forged. Director, Cinematographer, and Multidisciplinary Storyteller.
His work goes beyond the camera. As a Dancer, Musician, and Martial Artist, HEViN understands storytelling through movement, rhythm, voice, discipline, and physical expression, not just through visuals.
That lived connection to Film, Music, Dance, and Martial Arts is the foundation of Do So Productions.
Do So exists for stories that move. Visually. Emotionally. Physically. Culturally. HEViN's experience across filmmaking, branded content, documentaries, fashion editorials, social-first campaigns, and performance-led visuals gives the company both cinematic precision and creative instinct.
Technically, HEViN brings a strong foundation in cinematography, camera operation, lighting, visual composition, and production workflow. Creatively, he is drawn to work that feels alive. Stories with rhythm, atmosphere, identity, and raw human energy. The kind of stories that sweat, fight, dance, breathe, and refuse to stay still.
